Writer, speaker, workshop facilitator. Joanna has written for radio and magazines and has conducted workshops, mostly for women, in many countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand and the US. In 2006 she was keynote speaker at the Humanity and Gender conference in Nairobi, Kenya at the UN compound, organized by UNESCO PEER and Feminenza, an international charity set up by women for the benefit of girls and women around the world.

Joanna has published six books, mostly for and about women and spirituality. Rainbow Woman (written under the name Joanna Francis) describes the seven ages a woman goes through in her life as she grows in experience and wisdom, from childhood to becoming an elder. Included are meditations and practical advice for each stage of the journey.

The Tri-Angel Way is a fiction trilogy about a young woman who goes through three stages of self discovery and growth. In In-Formation; Moments of Realization she is a young woman receiving life lessons from her grandmother; in In-Tuition; Moments of Awakening she spends time at a mystery school where she encounters a teacher or shaman, and in In-Sight; Moments of Being (not yet published) she becomes a teacher herself.

Dear Gabriel is a collection of letters from a trainee angel to his mentor, describing (tongue in cheek) his adventures on earth and his various attempt in trying to help the human race move on to the next stage of evolution. Unfortunately, mostly people are not listening as they are too busy looking after their material needs!

Unmasked Spirit Flares is a collection of poetry and short writings, most of which have been previously published in magazines and newsletters.

All books are available from Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Borders.com and other online bookstores, as well as Joanna's publisher's website, KoraPress.com. Kora Press offers a full editorial and publishing service. One of Joanna's greatest joys is to take a manuscript or memoir and turn it into a published book.

Joanna currently live in New York City (Queens) with her husband David (also a writer and lecturer). Together they are EnergyWorlds Practitioners teaching people about the energies of relationships and within human exchanges.

Three of Joanna's articles have received Editor's Awards at Suite101:

Joanna is also a journalist and writes for The Spiritual Herald. She also hosts a weekly radio show titled EnergyWorlds Radio.
